Video #10 - Widgets Widgets? What are those? Widgets are part of the WordPress system and if you know how to use these, you can customize your website or blog quickly and easily. Let me give you an example here. If you look at a WordPress website or blog, parts of it are widgetized, meaning you can add things to it easily and they are easily customizable. The sidebar which is located on the right hand side is a good example of an area that is widgetized. You can often take plugins, for example a slideshow and drag and drop it into a widgetized area. In this video you will learn more on that.

This Autoblogging System X Review explains why I think very few buyers of this eBook will ever make any serious money using this system.

I had no interest in this product because of the red flags that were raised when I looked at the sales page but I bought it after a member of New WordPress Plugin ask me about it. The two biggest red flags for me are:

A Loophole Revealed

The headline stating that a rogue blogger is revealing a loophole that allowed him to generate a five figure income in this first 30 days. (If you discovered a loophole that allowed you to make that kind of money within a 30 day period, would you put it into an eBook and sell it to the public for $37.00 while it still worked? I wouldn’t and I don’t think you would either.)

Author Mentions His Team

Buried in the body copy of the sales page is a sentence where Rob Benwell states he couldn’t wait to get home to try this technique with his team. (This one sentence gave me a clue that you need to have a team working with you to achieve any level of success using this technique.)

Autoblogging System X Content

The book starts out by explaining that auto-blogging has received a bad reputation in some circles.

I find it interesting that the example used to validate the claims made in the book is a site that is a combination of content pulled from other sources and original content. On top of that, there's no way you could create a site similar to that using just the plugins recommended by the author. You would probably need to have one or more custom plugins made for you and you or someone that you hire would need to add original content to the blog each day.

After the initial example, the author lays out rules that you must follow to be successful. I'm not going to tell you what they are but the very first one states that you must understand that auto-blogging is a numbers game.

He stated that to be a keeper a blog needs to make at least $1.00 per day. If a blog only made that amount each day, on average, he need to have about 900 blogs in place and making money within that 30 day period to make 5 figures in the first month unless a few were huge hits fast.

How many people do you think it would take to do the keyword research, set up and promote 900 blogs?

I have no idea but even if you took the shortcut of using WordPress multi-site in setting up 10 to 50 blogs within a single niche it would be impossible to do it alone.

The only reason I did not request a refund of my $37.00 after reviewing this product for a member of my site was that I was able to use the list of plugins listed in this product as plugins I reviewed for my members.

I had already tested and recommended many of these plugins and dismissed others but since I received information that I could use for something other than the author intended I felt he deserved the compensation that he received.

It is possible to build a profitable blog business where part or even most of the content is generated by someone other than you or people that you hire and you can also automate quite a bit of the search engine optimization that needs to be done both on site and off site but this product does not teach you how to build a viable business.

I firmly believe that much of the information in this book is outdated and is incomplete which makes it a complete waste of money for most people. I hope my Autoblogging System X Review has helped you in your decision-making process.

This WP Redirect Bot Review will tell you what this WordPress plugin does and why I will never install it or a plugin like it on a blog I want to rank well in the search engines.

What The WP Redirect Bot Does

This WordPress Plugin allows you to create the page or post where all you have to do is enter the title and then enter the URL where you want the visitor to be redirected. After you have completed these two steps, you will need to use the WP Hide Plugin to keep the page or post invisible then publish it.

The Plugin does hide your affiliate link on your blog because people never see the page or post that you create. As soon as they click the link for the page or post, they get redirected to your affiliate page and in the case of ClickBank your affiliate URL is the exposed at that point.

My Conclusion

Even IF the affiliate URL was not exposed on the landing page, I would NEVER use this Plugin or one similar to it on any blog that I wanted to rank well in the search engines.

One of the things that search engines take into account when determining where to place your site in the search engine results pages is how long your visitors remain on your site before they leave go someplace else.

This is called a bounce rate. When a visitor leaves almost as soon as they get to your site, your bounce rate increases and a high bounce rate tells the search engines that the visitors to your site do not like what they see well enough to read one or more posts or pages.

The WP Redirect Bot Plugin guarantees that your bounce rate will increase as you drive traffic to that affiliate URL.

A better way, in my opinion, is to write a review you can place on your blog then use plugins like MaxBlogPress Ninja Affiliate or Pretty Link to both cloak and track your links. Pretty Link has a free version but the functionality is limited. To get the most out of the either of these plugins, you will need to spend $97.00. If you just need to cloak and track the URL, I recommend a service like Trak4u because that will not adversely affect your ranking in the search engines.

I hope this WP Redirect Bot Review adequately shares with you how harmful I think this Plugin could be to your search engine rankings.

This WP Easy Uploader WordPress plugin review is to give you my experiences with this plugin so you can decide whether not it is right for you and your blog.

The function of this Plugin is to take batches of PLR from your computer and schedule them at random intervals to be published as posts on your blog. You specify the time frame that you wish to have these posts published within. The range can be a spread of a few hours or a few days.

I have tried a number of plugins similar to this one and each plugin has at least one element that I dislike and this plugin is no exception. With this Plugin, it is necessary to have the files that you wish to post in a zip archive.

As with all PLR, you will need to read and edit each article to get the most benefit out of it.

The amount of time you save with this plugin, if any, depends on how many articles are in the zip file that you upload any given time.

I found that I saved very little time if I was only uploading and scheduling 25 posts within a category.

After I uploaded the files, I opened each individual post so I can bold the primary keyword in the first sentence, underline the keyword near the middle of the document and italicize it near the end of the document to help with a SEO. I also rewrote the title and the post slug so the keyword was near the beginning of the title in the title is unique. If the post had a summary or word count within the article, these had to be deleted before the post could be published.

Since it is necessary to do this with each private label rights article that I use, I see very little value in plugins that allow bulk uploads. Even though this content was going on to one of my link wheel blogs, I want each post to be a search engine friendly as possible so it provides a higher quality back link to my primary site.

If you are not as picky about the content that you place on your self-hosted link wheel blogs, you may find that WP Easy Uploader will save you time. I hope you have found is this WP Easy Uploader WordPress plugin review useful.

The Wonder Wheel Category Maker WordPress plugin is a plugin that is designed to pull categories from Google’s Wonder Wheel that are related to your seed keyword.

Note: I am basing my review on the video and the sales page because I have not and will not purchase this plugin. My reasons for not buying the plugin will become evident as you read the review.

The Wonder Wheel, for those that don’t know, is a tool Google created that shows you the search phrases they believe are the most related to the keyword that you searched.

This plugin was created to scrape post first and second level related keywords.

I have several problems with this plugin and they are:

Google does not like people scraping content. If you use this plugin very much, you will need to use proxies.

The categories that the Wonder Wheel sees as most relevant may not be easy to rank for in the search engines.

When the plugin creates the categories, it creates the category name and the category slug but it does not enter a category description.

If you allow this plugin to enter your categories for you using nothing but the Wonder Wheel, you will be missing out on some great chances to assist yourself and traffic generation and search engine optimization.

Market Samurai is the ultimate keyword research tool and, I believe, it is a better choice for finding both your primary keyword phrase and the secondary keywords that can usually be used as your categories. Even though Market Samurai is a paid product, the keyword research portion of it will always remain free.

Your primary keyword phrase will usually have 100,000 or fewer competitors. It makes sense to have your secondary keywords as phrases that also have 100,000 or fewer competitors.

Ideally, you want your competition to be under 30,000 competing pages.

By manually entering your category names, you can enter the category title and repeat the title as the description and the category slug. The description that you enter is used as the title tag in the browser. Title tags are important for search engine spiders in readers for the visually impaired.

This plugin may save you time but it could cost you much more than just what you spent to buy the plugin. I hope you have found this Wonder Wheel Category Maker WordPress plugin review useful.

This Affilitheme Review covers my opinions and thoughts on this theme and the claims made on the sales page. One statement made is that the Affilitheme is …

This ‘Fully Customizable WordPress Theme’ gives you 29 ways to edit the theme. The theme is a fixed width theme, which isn’t uncommon, but it is set at less than 800 pixels wide. More than half the users online use resolutions at 1024 or greater so there is a LOT of wasted screen showing.

The enclosed instruction guide recommends you limit your logo image size to 64x64 pixels which is tiny. It goes on to state that the image MUST be named header.png or it won’t show.

Internet Explorer does not currently display PNG images as well as GIF or JPG so you lose some quality there and there is no easy way to add an image ALT tag which would help with SEO.

There is no title tag for the hyperlinked blog title if you choose to have it active.

The Affilitheme has no Home button. Visitors are expected to know the blog title or the site logo are links that will return you to the home page.

You can do the needed theme edits IF you are good at going through PHP and CSS to make the changes you want.

There are 3 different advertising areas built into the theme BUT you must go to the theme editor to insert or change the ads you want shown.

Note: You can get similar results with a free plugin WITHOUT having to touch your theme editor.

I found the customization of the colors to be too much work. You first have to go to a site recommended in the manual and choose your color and then enter it in the theme. After saving the change, you need to view the blog from a visitor’s perspective to see if the changes work together to create the desired experience. This means you need your theme settings open in one tab, the color picker site in another and your blog’s home page in a third or in a different browser.

I am so disappointed in this theme I emailed support requesting a refund. It has been 48 hours since I made my request and I am still waiting for a reply. My support ticket was responded to 14 days after it was created and I was told to contact Clickbank for support.

The Affilitheme may be useful for marketers that put up niche blogs where they promote one or two products AND they get the majority of their traffic by means other than organic search results. My personal preference is to use themes that can be modified to look the way I choose AND can be made search engine friendly if they aren’t already. I paid $50 one time for Artisteer and I can now create a theme for WordPress Blogger or static pages at will. An NWPP member asked me about the Affilitheme so I bought it after ready the sales copy just so I could do an honest review. (The theme creator is offering review copies to potential affiliates.) I hope you’ve found this Affilitheme review informative.
